Like previous recharge plans, Jio monsoon offer is no different. It is still cheaper than any other recharge plan available in the market by other telecom providers. These plans are available for both prepaid and postpaid users.
Jio has also improved its connectivity problem from last 3 month. Now we can experience fast data transfer rate and quick calling to any network. From all new plans, Rs. 399 and Rs. 509 are the most value for money plans. So I have shared all the full details of all these recharge plans.
Jio Monsoon Offer Details
Monsoon offer has these 5 plans and all plan comes with free calling across the country including Local & STD SMS. Below is the list of offers
Rs. 149 Plan
This plan is suitable for those who want to enjoy free calling benefit with added 2GB data. This plan will be valid for 28 days only. In addition, 300 local and STD SMS will be credited to your account. After you exhaust your first 2GB, your internet speed will be throttled to 128 Kbps.
Earlier, this plan was only giving 700MB of 4G data but now the Data is increase by almost 190% which is great news for consumers.
Rs. 309 Plan
This is a plan which is cheaper and unlimited. You can use 1GB data per day with maximum 4G speed and thereafter 128 Kbps. The national SMS usage will be unlimited and so for calling. Also, this pan has a validity of almost 2 months. Earlier, this plan was giving same benefits but with 3-month benefits.
Rs. 349 Plan
Rs. 349 plan is for those who don’t want daily 1GB data, instead, this plan will give you 10GB + 10GB Bonus data. So a total of 20GB data will be given which can be used anytime. Everything else will remain same as Rs. 309 plan.
Rs. 399 Plan
Get almost 3-month validity with Jio 399 monsoon plan. This plan is as same as Rs. 309 plan but comes with more validity. So I would personally prefer this plan over the Rs.309 plan.
Rs. 509 Plan
This is the most attractive plan if you are an internet freak user. This plan will give you unlimited SMS, calling usage to local as well as STD numbers. In addition, you can avail 2GB data every day and thereafter the speed will be capped to 128Kbps. However, the validity of this plan will only be 56 days. This plan is also recommended by me.
How To Upgrade To New Jio Plans?
In order to switch any of the new plans, you need to fully exhaust your current plan. For example, if you are currently using Jio 309 plan actively and you recharge with Rs. 509 (new plan) then you may not receive new benefits. So the best method is to exhaust the validity of your current plan first before moving to new one. I have confirmed this by asking Jio Care executive. When your plan’s validity ends, you can follow below procedure.
Please note that all these plans are only valid for Prime users. So if you are not a Prime member then you have to recharge with Rs. 99 first. Thereafter go through these recommended steps.
- Visit Jio.com official website and go to plans
- Pick any plan that you like to recharge
- Pay the amount using your preferred payment method
- Congrats, your new plan will be activated soon
I personally prefer 399 rs. recharge rather than 309 rs. recharge, as it will give more validity.
